Outstanding food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The Bulgogi was packed with flavor, and the ramen was excellent. Friendly staff, quick service, and a clean restaurant. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in San Antonio. Believe the hype!

This was a 3 star review that got saved by the Hot Korean fried chicken. The flavor was reminiscent of Nashville hot chicken, and the classic bubbly, crunchy crush of the chicken was spot of for authentic Korean fried chicken. I recommend this place just for that. Other than the kfc, the food did not blow me away. The bulgogi bowl was solid, but pretty salty and a small portion size. The wagyu beef soup was very peppery and didn't have many noodles.

The Golden Goose is one of those rare restaurants with a personality all its own. It’s eclectic, authentic, and refreshingly different from the typical dining experience. The menu is creative without feeling overdone, and you can tell every dish is thoughtfully prepared. I especially appreciate their commitment to partnering with local farms for their meats, produce, and eggs. That dedication to quality really comes through in the food, and it’s the kind of locally owned restaurant I genuinely want to support. That said, the service during our visit was disappointing. There was only one other occupied table, yet it took nearly 20 minutes to receive a glass of iced green tea. While we waited, the other table received and was eating their meals before our drinks ever arrived. Our server also wasn’t particularly friendly or welcoming, which made the wait feel even longer. Service is a meaningful part of the overall dining experience, so it was hard to overlook. I’m giving three stars because I think the service needs improvement, but I also think these are fixable issues. KUDOs. Tasty, inexpensive selections. Comfortable, well-planned seating for a small place. Attentive and helpful staff; he came outside to guide us to the right place to park. Interesting, eclectic decor. CHALLENGEs. Parking lot is around the corner and above the restaurant; the 2nd elevator, farther inside the lot, exits right outside the front door. Staff will assist getting you back to the lot after your meal. Highly recommended but would opt for take-out rather than sit-in.

We tried the Korean Hot Chicken and the Ramen special. Both were delicious. As it was our first time I wasn't sure what to order, so I wish I didn't have to order on a kiosk. The soaked egg that came with the ramen was SO good. Side of rice was a bit bland, but the hot chicken had a perfect crunch! Key lime pie for desert was soft and delicious as well.
